End of Lease
Hey everyon,
Returning my 2016 BMW M235i and wondering how strict the end of lease inspection is? Last visit to BMW a few months ago they noted the brake pads and rotors were corroded. So I am guessing I need to replace them before returning the car? Can I do it with aftermarket or does it have to be OEM? Also any other advice on end of lease? I checked my Michelin PSS and they have about 4/32 tread left, hopefully that's ok? Thanks |

You may receive similar info in the mail with the "tool" to evaluate dings and scratches before lease end, but you can have them send you it (see link on the page I linked above). The brakes should be fine as long as the wear sensors haven't been triggered, rust is normal wear and tear on them |

At least in the U.S. brakes are covered under maintenance plan up until MY18 cars I think, not sure why it would be different where you are.
