Newbie with a '16 MW M235Xi

Hi everyone,

I've been a long time owner of Japanese cars (typical Honda's and Toyota's) and decided to try something different and unique so for my first BMW I picked up a '16 M235Xi (8 spd auto) in Mineral white with Coral Red Dakota interior. So far i'm loving it, this car is on a league of it's own and I can't wait to learn more about the F22 and what it's capable of.

and yes the M badge is missing. Already ordered replacement

got her tinted today 35% sides and 20% rear windshield

Missing the ones on the sides too

They aren't on the 2016 M235is on the sides. Mine doesn't have them either. I think BMW dropped the side badges after 2014.

I have a 2016 and it has them... Maybe it's different in Canada?

The M badge was stolen,

I already ordered a replacement badge.

And for the US spec M235's they dropped the side M badges after MY 2014 so any 2015+ Ms don't have them.

Nice ride, love the color choices. I would recommend staying away from Fire Zone Parking areas for a photo shoot. You never know. I owned several Japanese cars including 2 S2000's. I like my 2016 228ix Msport vert. More fun more room and better equipped. Enjoy.

Congrats on the new ride !
I had Subies for years and the M235 is my first BMW also. Very imprezzed (lol) with it so far. So refined and compliant, but can haul ass when asked. I know that the two companies serve different clientele, but if the new STi had the 235i's refinement, I might have stuck with Subaru.

yes, well Glendale but close enough to LA.

I got my car tinted in Rancho Cucamonga, I have a go to guy for tint. He's worked on all my cars.
