Will banks write a loan on this title issue?

How much would you knock off the price for this?

Would this scare you off as a potential buyer?

First, what year and model is the car? What is the asking price – $10K, $20K, $30K, or $???.

Contact a lender – you'll get a quick answer regarding their loan policy on NAM titles.

These would give me serious pause:

1) Not driven in a year (apparently);
2) The car has already had four owners;
3) The actual mileage is unknown.

The first is questionable; the second and third are a hard pass.

It's a 2017 230i x-drive with the track handling package. It has what appears to be an M235 exhaust affixed and they're asking $24k

My opinion is that this is a car to avoid.

Just my 2¢.

Could you have gotten further away!?? They look like BMW Car Club of America stickers (available to members), from what I can make out.

You should put that in as a bid.

Well, is the OP willing to buy the stickers or the car? $24k for a 2017 230 is way overpriced when you can get a 240 for $20K.

Thanks for the heads up on the stickers. They magically went POOF when I asked for a close up from the dealer. I'm still thinking the former owner tracked this car, and with the NAM title it's just not worth the hassle.
BTW, Nickies I have yet to see any low mileage M240i's for $20k. Will you sell me yours for that price?

Mileage makes sense when you look at the full carfax. They only did a couple thousand a year and it flows correctly. Looks like the last reported was over a year prior.

I'd be more concerned about the seat cover on the passenger seat, what's it covering...

Using the VIN, this is all Carvana offered on a trade. I guess they're not very comfortable with the title either

Just imagine how hard it would be to sell this car if you bought it and tried to part ways in a couple years? I would avoid this thing like the plague.

My thinking has been that it's an $8K to $10K car; nice to see Carvana agrees with me!
