widest wheels i can fit on a 228i?

I’m looking to get a new set of wheels within the next year, I’ve been looking at a set of riviera rf107 which are all 20” wheels and come in widths of 8.5”, 10”, 11” and et35.

Im sure the 8.5” would fit the front but would the 10” or 11” fit the rear while on stock suspension or would u need some bolt on spacers to fit the wheels which i’d like to avoid if possible.

Even if anyone knows any wheels that look close to the ones i’ve been looking at.

Our cars have a very narrow window of acceptable tire/wheel sizes. Head on over to the wheel and tire sub-forum to see what some people have had success with.

I haven't seen anyone fit wider than 9.5" without a widebody kit and the offsets were larger than et35.
