I think at this point we can only speculate about the pricing. If I extrapolate the prices in Europe for M135i and 328i Sport line (they have the same base price) I can imagine that M235i will be priced a little over 328i Sport line (and M135i for that matter), but less than 335i Sport Line - personally I hope it will be closer to 328i Sport Line rather than 335i Sport Line.

Depending on the country you are in you can have a guesstimate of the price as between 328i and 335i.

I like the looks and size. I also have my mind set on a 435i and looking forward for a right price of mid 50k. But i have to ask how much bigger is the 4? Ive seen the photos but it doesn't seem that huge.

I agree with your speculation on pricing.

In between 328i M-Sport and 335i M-Sport pricing, but not more than 335i M-Sport pricing.

I am in the same boat as you. The 4 series is supposed to be about an inch longer and wider than the current e92 no clue if it will be heavier tho. E92 was already somewhat big to me which is why I'm leaning towards M235i now

I'd rather have a 6MT and RWD, unless of course they are saving those things for the ///M2.
Just noticed that but it wouldn't make any sense for them to only have 8-speed auto + xdrive they know US customers love 6MT and RWD. Although I wouldn't be surprised if this car came with DCT stock

How many more 3 series iterations will BMW keep building? And for whom?

Is this an entirely new platform or built off existing 1?

I've been going back and forth between this and 435 for next ride, but think I'd rather have a fully loaded and sportier M235i for cheaper than the 435. I just hope they offer a rear seat split/fold-down because that trunk looks tiny.

Wow! BMW hit another home run with that styling. The M135i's better looking brother.

Looks nice, but it could have been a little more aggressive... I can't wait for updated renders of the M2 !

Is it known if we will be able to get 228i with M-Sport pkg or just Sport Line?

Article says its based on the m135i. Shares platform, power train and drivetrain.

Definitely looks small. Rear folding seats should be stock.

Looking good, and now I'm even more excited to see how the M2 will turn out.

Looks lush, better than F30 IMO, shame the engine choices are not quite as good though.
