Not feeling the raspy sound...Sounds like there's loose exhaust components that's vibrating...

Worried because if you get a CEL after the downpipe replacement, it means that the two O2 sensors can not analyze properly the gaz flow and it can make the engine working different. And then it needs an ECU tune.
Not true.

O2 sensors are only there for emissions on our car. And diagnostics, values sent are not used in any map.

Thank you !

That was absolutely the look i was looking for, sporty and a little agressive.

I hesitated a long time with the 405 wheels but i absolutely think now that these wheels provide a better look. They are rare on this car but such a good choice.

Definitely! Sporty, aggressive, and still looks very classy and elegant at the same time, IMO.

A little update

Wagner EVO 2 Competition, Pure Turbos Inlet Pipe and VRSF TIC Pipe are ready to be installed.

The Evolution Racewerks CP and GFB DV+ will complete when everything will be installed by a workshop.

I also added a BMC air filter and an AFE Air Scoop.

All the admission / exhaust side will be complete.

M Performance front lip painted and installed !

For me, it definitely finishes the look. On an Estoril Blue car, i prefer the lip painted rather than black mat. It makes to the front of the car more " volume ".

Because of its titanium material, the Akrapovic line offers me the possibility to always drive with valves open. I drive everyday with valves open anyway in comfort mode or sport mode. With the Fabspeed Sport Cat Downpipe, the sound is absolutely terrible. Titanium is really different than stainless steel sound. I didn't install the Akrapovic for performance of course but for the sound, the look and the "never drone" that titanium allows even with valves open and a 200 cells downpipe.

For no drone, you could add a resonator. Glad you like it, but that was money I would have never spent on a muffler.

As it happens, i didn't want a resonator. I didn't want an exhaust which was a compromise providing comfort without drone but also not a fully aggressive sound. I wanted comfort possible BUT with maximum aggressiveness. And again, because of the Fabspeed downpipe, Akrapovic was the best choice. An important thing is that i bought the line begining of 2018 just before that Akrapovic increases the price of the M2's line. I'm from Europe and i bought it at -30% ... I was also interested by the Fi-Exhaust line but imported from the USA to Europe, it would finaly cost more than sourcing the Akra directly in Europe.

So paying 4K makes more sense then buying a resonator for $100 installed?
Hey man, like i said, I’m happy if you are, but it’s not what I would do

Resonator way was something i absolutely didn't want. I was ready to pay this amount for this line because it satisfied all my expectations. Expectations which, with a stainless steel line with a resonator, would not be achieved.

A resonator is made to literally handle resonatate frequencies. It doesn’t typically muffle sound, weigh more, or reduce performance. Basically your critieria is arbitrary and makes no sense, but like I said - glad your happy dude.

Because i had a line with a resonator before the Akra, i can say that a resonator muffles the sound. The raspy and agressive note at high RPMs is different with or without the resonator. Same for the "crack" note when the gear upshift. Sound is something subjective and is different for each people, i agree with that. But my criteria are not arbitrary, they are factual. I understand that you are happy for me but saying it makes no sense means for me something like " each exhaust is the same , sounds the same , you spent money for a result you can get for cheaper or with a different configuration line ". And i'm sorry but it's not true. But again, i'm very very meticulous about the sound.

For exemple brands like Armytrix and Remus use 2 small pipes for their midpipe, it helps to contain drone. But remus sound is too "quiet" for me and i don't like the Armytrix sound.
Correct - I had 200CPI DP, remus midpipe and OEM MPE on my M135i - zero drone and sound level and tone were spot on, for my old ears anyhow.

Could of saved yourself a fortune and spoken to BCS exhausts in UK - they do a straight thru midpipe with Helmholtz chamber - zero drone.....
