New car engine break in

I purchased a 2019 manual M240i cabriolet that's almost here. I'm wondering if I should be breaking in the engine. I've done it in the past with new vehicles I've owned, and usually take it easy from 0-1000miles. Wondering if thats the case still here?

Any advise?

2,000km under 4,500rpm, it's right in the manual.

Just don't floor it for 2,000km and watch your revs, keep the rpm constantly changing. I recommend changing the oil at 2,000km, but BMW won't pay for it.
