Finally got a test drive in a M235i

Went looking at cars today with a buddy and decided to break down and take an M235i for a test drive. I have avoided this because I am a year away from being able to buy a new car and I was fully aware I would fall in love based upon all of the things I have read and watched online. Well, I am in love. I was really blown away by how quick the car was and how connected the driving experience is. Can't wait till June of 2016 when I will be able to make my move. I am happy to have driven the car but the wait will be torture.

It's a pretty amazing car and will be worth the wait. By then we should be at the M240i, so we'll have to see what changes are coming with that.

Take both, if you can - just as I did, after the not-so-nice 2 years with the F10 528xi...

They are both small cars (even EU standards), but I drive alone 99% of the time so that is not a concern. To the opposite - by being small and powerful, they're both very agile, tossable and both really deserve the "driver's car" attribute. While being so close in the above feature, each is totally different that the other as far as driving experience - the R being AWD and my M235i - RWD...Lots of fun changing between them indeed!

Just watch the Chris Harris comparison! But again your opinion can be different. Good luck!
