Replaced the left tail light cluster for my M235i.
The entire unit is mounted with 2 metal screws and one plastic knob into socket thingy.
Apparently the plastic knob was broken and the whole unit sags and allowed dust/pollen/rain to enter.
Now, with the new one, it's nice and tight.

Cost me around $240.

With that being said, there is video evidence that stock vs stock there is little difference between the 2 cars and also there is evidence that our car may even be faster on the top end than an M2.

So.......
I got an "M" t-shirt for free and feel like a douche wearing it considering neither of my BMW's are actual "M" cars, despite tons of M-Performance parts.

eh...you've probably worn a band t-shirt and werent the drummer, right?

i wouldnt put an M badge on a non-M car, but i can still be a fan and roll with the swag, right?

It's a bit underwhelming. Fake vents and the sorts.. Aside from that it's not a bad car, imo. I'd be the one re-badging a black one into to a BMW Coupe lol

Well my motivation would be exactly that. I've always toyed with the idea of a Z Coupe, and I could get a new one with warranty albeit wearing a Japanese badge. That said I need fewer cars not more of them, especially impractical cars.

Thanks! Wheel from Tischer (getbmwparts), carbon trim from Sun Motor Cars BMW (ebay store), rear split spoke trim from ECS Tuning, and paddles from a very good bimmerpost forum member (paddles only, had to transfer the electronics).

I got a $500 rebate check from BMWCCA after purchasing our 2019 M240i. There's a page on their website that lists the benefits.

That's a well known benefit - and candidly why many folks join the club. Free $ is always good!

New wheels and tires!

I finally pulled the trigger on new wheels and tires! I ended up going with Apex EC-7's F: 18x8.5 ET45, R: 18x9.5 ET 58 and Michelin PS4S Tires F: 225/35/18 R: 255/35/18. Here's a glamour shot!

Nope. No spacers at all! I was thinking of adding some to push the wheels out more for esthetics, but not sure.
