Arrow How Can I Change Oil Service Intervals?

I'm wanting to change the interval to 5,000 miles on my 2016 M235i, but apparently I'm not doing something right. I found a post in the F30 forum and have found the parts in green in e-sys.

KOMBI L7_MID > CBS_Konfiguration 3009 > CBS_WEG_FAKTOR_FZG_CHECK_DEPEND = faktor_5
KOMBI L7_MID > CBS_Konfiguration 3009 > CBS_ZEIT_FAKTOR_FZG_CHECK_DEPEND = faktor_4

Then there is a coding in the DME or DDE which depends on the engine i think.
Here i have 3 different BMW models as examples:

328i ----- DME > BSU-Config 3320 > OEL-Config = Wert_14

320D ----- DME__DDE7xx > OHNE_ZEITLIMIT 3701 > OWI_NEU = wert_11
335D ----- DME__DDE7xx > OHNE_ZEITLIMIT 3701 > OWI_NEU = wert_15

All these codings are for the 12TKM 12Month interval.

I’m interested in how to do this as well (for a 2017 M240).

When I coded mine, I changed the VO code that my car came with to 8KP ( 8000 km interval ) then coded defaults to DME and FEM_BODY.

This will change all values needed but you will lose custom FDL coding you had ( if you had any ) on FEM_BODY.

This needs to be done with engine off and a power supply ( you can't code DME with engine ON ).

I just made it working as needed. Below meaning of the wert. For oil interval change needed only to change one parameter.

wert_2 64,64 - 25 tkm 24 m

I just did something similar through VO coding (except for 15.000km interval, 1 yr). This is much easier with E-sys.

Be aware that you risk loosing your BMW service package subscription /guarantee if you have one!
