230i 40K service?

I leased my '21 230i. All required service done until 30k. I bought the lease out at 35k. Did an oil change and rear brake pads @ 35k [5k oil interval since I own it now], with an advisory to check front pads at 40k. I just hit 40k miles, I don't see anything about a 40k service, am I missing something?

Here's a decent checklist at post #13.

As mentioned in the thread, it's merely a guideline.

freakystyly, thanks for that! On my own, I'm going to do a charge pipe when it's out of warranty, and I've already researched know B48 engine issues, and a have a list of items to replace preemptively. There's no reason the car won't last another 25 years/250000 miles with proper care & maintenance. I bought a zero option car [except for a manual], less crap to break over time.

Same. Car's been solid so far.

As dradernh mentioned, there's the users guide too which covers basic maintenance items. I also recommend finding a good independent BMW mechanic in your area and build a relationship with them instead of the dealership. If you're able to DIY, even better for your wallet. I use an indy for larger/urgent things if needed and DIY what isn't a burning issue since it's my DD. These forums a are great source of info, including the f30post side (because of more 3/4 series cars on the road).

I am also the original owner from new. Maintenance is relative to where you live and the driving conditions. Aside from regular oil change at 6K ( OEM 0w20 oil and filter), I replace the cabin filter every year and I check the engine air filter. As recommended, I have a brake flush every 2 years and that's it.

I am at 55K and everything is flawless. I am still on the OEM brake pads.
