Holy smokes that's quick! From the way the rear squatted before launch, I'm guessing it's a ZF8/xDrive. Curious what other mods were done besides wheels/tires. Hopefully, it belongs to someone on the forums so they can chime in and give us the details!

It looks to be RWD given it has slicks out back and skinnies up front. It definitely hauls, but 10s aren't totally out of the question for these cars. There are a handful of N55s and B58s in the 10s and low 11s and have been for a few years. The reason we don't hear more about it is the BMW crowd isn't much into organized drag racing.
A strong tune, downpipe, ethanol/meth, fuel pump mods, and most importantly, tires, and the B58s, N55s, and N54s are upper 10 to 11 second cars. Hell, slicks alone on a bonestock RWD M235/240 would shed easily half a second in 1/4 mile ET just because you can launch so much harder. It's why xdrive 8AT models are so impressive in the 1/4 mile.

Good catch on the tires! Didn't even notice the skinny front wheels.

Impressive. Definitely not stock turbo though; either Big Boost or PS2.

I've got MW believe me it looks amazing during sunset hours/dusk. Yet, color matching exterior parts is a pain. I have mirror caps and a diffuser that look perfect from a distance until you get close.

No regrets with Alpine here. Leave the Mineral to the middle aged women driving their 5 Series to Ulta.

Definitely MW. That's the way it looks under lighting at night.

We could never get Glacier Silver in the states on the M240i. Mineral looks like this under the lights. It flip flops similar to Hockenheim Silver.

There's US folks in this thread with GS 2017s..
https://www.2addicts.com/forums/show...=952279&page=6 https://www.2addicts.com/forums/bpga...=view&id=19381 I wonder if the lighting is throwing it off because it definitely looks white in that video passing under the track lights. Last edited by Pray for Mojo; 08-27-2019 at 02:43 PM.. |

However, Glacier Silver most definitely WAS available on the M240 in the USA (see my car below). It was only available for MY2017; it was taken away starting in MY2018. Quote:
