Question Aftermarket exhaust for 230i

Hi everyone,
First time here and looking for advice.

I'm planning to change the exhaust on my 230i; as everyone know on the market there is a very low choice of aftermarket exhausts, it seems that everyone makes stuff only for the 6 cylinder...

Anyway i was looking to buy a catback system from Milltek because i already know the brand and some of my friends have their exhaust mounted on different cars also the price is Ok and not that expensive like the one from Supersprint (that it seems is the only brand that makes one for the 230i)

They make one for the 240i:
https://www.millteksport.com/non-res...xbm1059mp.html

and another for the 235i:
https://www.millteksport.com/non-res...sxbm990mp.html

They are different especially in the pipe sizes one is 66.5mm (2.635") and the other one is 76mm (3")

They also make exhausts for the N20 (mine is the B48) but without the valve

Do you think one of the two can fit?

Also someone know the pipe size straight out the kat?

I hope someone can help me, and i'm open for suggestion.

There is almost no traffic in this subforum. I am pretty sure based on my reading that they changed the pipe diameter from 2017 to 2018 but the diameters are the same for both models each year. Therefore you want to buy the one designed for the 240 and it will fit plug and play on your 230--except of course for the dual exhaust diffuser needed.

I mated an exhaust made for an M235i to my 230i and it required some...work.

The pipes don't line up, so a mating sleeve had to be manufactured.
