You are a serious tight wad, put it on Kijiji and take 50-70% of what you paid for it and go treat you and the lady to a nice dinner. No wonder there are so many lawyers in the US

You should see some invoices for legal fees. We have clients paying 800-1000 an hour for estate planning.

I have seen 100k bills for trust decanting.

I am not a accountant but I am responsible for hiring our audit firm, and while the fees have increased (especially since SarBox even for non-compliant clients), the risks they bear and the extra efforts required for their own compliance are much higher. There is really no direct value added for clients in this (as is often the case with regulation), but indirectly we all benefit, I suppose, from the added assurance and diligence. We use a top tier firm; I have limited experience with the mid-tier so that could be different.

By the way all fees and expenses are negotiable.

My last client engagement fee for total assurance, tax consultancy, and M&A advisory totaled approximately $18,000,000 per year.

Is this thread a joke?

Guy buys a product that isn't advertised to work with his vehicle and wants a refund on an opened and used product 18 months later?

"Hey, Foot Locker, I know I bought women's size 6 shoes last year, and they're a little scuffed, but they don't fit. I demand a refund or I'm calling my attorney!"

LOL, bear in mind that this is barely above materiality for them. I believe their gross sales were somewhere in the neighborhood of $35,000,000,000. So not a small company.

Y'all taking the piss without even asking for or understanding the full facts.

The product is advertised to work with the F30. Even says it on their site but won't even do that no more.

Anyhow the NCA. Is all over them. They have to release a fix or refund me.

Anyways, the Nevada Consumer Dept. is all over them and they are required to release a fix or refund the purchase price.

1) There is no such thing as the Nevada Consumer Department. There is the Nevada Consumer Affairs Office and also the Nevada Bureau of Consumer Protection. I am not sure which you are referring to.

2) Per both of the government website, irrespective of which one you are talking about:

BCP and/or the CAO cannot represent individual consumers in any lawsuits, nor can BCP/CAO assist individual consumers with their own private legal disputes.

Summation: Neither can force the company to refund you any money.

I hope they do manage to scare the bejesus out of them. Yes the NCA cannot force them but may be the attorney can.

When I purchased it they said I could select 3 and it would work on the 4. I cannot even select individual modules on the 4 anymore. It has also stopped working with the 3.

An attorney cannot force a respondent to do anything. Only a judge can enact a legal decree. Good luck finding an attorney to bring this claim to suit, with you being out of the country.
