Ordered a 2021 M240i and it’s in production, estimated time of arrival?

Yeah my sales guy said it'll likely be on a ship next week. Mine is coming to the west coast as well.

Any updates on your end? Mine is still saying at Port which doesnt seem right cinsidering its been there for 2 weeks now...thinking they havnt updated and there is a boat full of M240s on their way to the West coast

They are waiting for mine to get to the port. LOL

I had the "a carrier has been assigned to take care of my BMW" message last Wednesday. So don't know if it had left the factory on its way to Bremerhaven yet.

Mine changed to In Transit today as well. 100% sure we are on the same boat

How was the time frame for you to go from dispatched from the factory to the in transit phase?

That doesn't make sense. The other two individuals were in port about the same amount of time. Now their cars are in transit. Maybe it will be on the ship soon.

Mine just changed to "in transit" after just three days in "at the port". Must be good timing.

I read somewhere that shipment to the West coast is only done twice per month. Whereas to the East coast is weekly. So I guess it is all about timing like everything else.

Just found out the car is on the Orion Highway and it is due to the GA port on Nov 4th. I should have it a week after the election.

WOW! That was fast. As I recalled your build was on the 15th. My build was finished on the 22nd. It is a the port awaiting to be assigned to a ship. But then I am on the West Cost so it will take a lot longer.

Yeah I really think it all in the timing. I only spent three days in the port before I got on a ship and that is not the norm. If I had gotten there three days later I am sure I would have a long wait for a ship. Now I have to watch the ship hit 5 more ports before it gets to mine.

My "ship" has been sitting in SouthHampton UK since Sunday, so much for an arrival in Brunswick, GA on the 4th.

Mine is also moored at SouthHampton UK since yesterday. I am sure they are loading and unloading cars there. At least it is a shorter trip to GA than to the West Coast.

I see two tugs near the Orion Highway so she is getting underway finally and now headed for Baltimore as the next stop. I see one other PA (auto transport) in port at the staging pier, she will likely move to the auto pier as soon as mine is gone.

I think you meant https://www.marinetraffic.com/. Mine is due into Baltimore on the 11th then down to Brunswick GA where it will offload my car.
