Hood latch adjustment

I searched for this and didn't find anything so for anyone with a misaligned hood here's what you need to know. The hood latch is easily adjustable. Just release the plastic retaining clip and screw in or out as needed. You should run the stop in first and then align the hood. After you've got it right adjust the stop out slowly until there's no play when closed.

so did you just adjust the latch, or the hinge as well?

I am not too familiar with this, could you explain it with a little more detail? If you take a close look at my picture below it's a slight misalignment toward the passenger side.

That seems like you would need to mess with the hinges to fix. My problem was in the vertical direction.
