I think a few people I contacted code in NY. It is easier to just do it yourself, very easy to learn, there is a few threads here with instructions and download of all required software.

Are you looking for just coding or software updates also?

just a few things like force brakes, mirror fold and windows up with keyfob and dvd in motion and usb video.

sure i can learn and code myself, but figured it would be easier to find someone who has done it already.

And i dont want to brick my car, i have seen someone try to code a f22 and messed it up pretty bad. Dude was a BMW genius and had to wipe and flash it back. Dont want that to happen.

If that was the case then even people you pay to code has the ability to brick the car.

Anything can happen, if you take time and learn it is best so you don't have to rely on anyone else when you so any upgrades and lose the coding but nothing against going to someone.

There are online services now that will do it for you; starting to consider it myself, but wouldn't want to have to learn enough to debug (debrick?) my own mistakes.

I used the folks at codemycar.com. They are in Jersey but they can code remote. I went to Jersey on a Sunday and got it done. Super easy, just make sure you review the list of everything you want done ahead of time. They will send you a list to review. One fee paid for the coding and lifetime followup coding in case the dealer ever reflashes your car.

Definitely read up on BimmerCode. It's sooooo easy. I made my first batch of changes just now.
