I am brand new to coding. Can anyone confirm if Esys will still work if I need to add a USB to Ethernet adapter into the mix? I don't have an Ethernet port on my laptop.

Yes it should be ok as it will be as an Ethernet port for Esys.

Confirmed - yes, it will work fine. My ultrabook doesn't have an ethernet port, and I use a USB-to-ethernet adapter to verify the speed of my Internet service, which requires a wired connection to my router. You should have no issues doing the same with E-Sys.
