Sorry guys that has gone over the top.

I can't hide it anymore.

You ALL have been punked by SpeedFreak! and me.

The debate over 335i and its engine is a plot set by SpeedFreak! and me!

We both had same info but to make a debate more interesting we agreed to make some fun: starting a harsh debate.

SpeedFreak! started with a claim of 3.5L I6 NA engine, and I replied harshly. And so on ...

We made a bet "Latest info on 335 ..." on Bimmerfest would get 40,000 views and 1,000 replies before E92 press release was out. We are now over 40,000 views and very close to 1,000 replies. I think that's enough.

Although we couldn't made such huge thread here.

All that is know for shure is that there will be a 335i and the main european engine will be a twin turbo.

Problem comes in where countries dont have lean burn direct Injection comaptable fuel, like the USA ( only fully compatable from 2007)

What happens in those countries nobody knows till those countries release their own details.

I think e90Post needs to implement a member rating system allowing other posters to rate the quality of information from members. We should only be allowed to vote for a member once so its harder to inflate someone’s true value to the board. This would slowly bring some credibility back to the board after this stunt.
