I just saw someone posted a Traveling Wilburys tune. There was a Jeff Lynne song I loved. It didn't get much airplay. For the life of me, I can't remember what it was. Not sure if it was a Wilburys, or a solo. I'll be back when the needle hits that spot on the record player in my brain. I hate when that happens.

You must be in Northern California. Here in SoCal (Inland Empire) the rain is supposed to start Sunday night into Monday morning and into the afternoon. We need it.

Good song, btw.

I get stuck on songs occasionally. Too bad we're not to the place in technology where we can hum a song and Google will find it for us. At least not yet, anyway. lol

Oh man. The start of this thread is such a throwback.

My music taste probably doesn't blend in with the last 200 pages of this thread like it does with page 1 but:

A variety....

A freestyle where Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole swapped tracks:

Some synth goodness:

And some Hans Zimmer:

Care to explain how you can hum a tune and Google will find the song for you? Would love to know this. Would save me some brain racking. Think we'd all like to know this.

I saw the movie, "Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid" right after I got out of the Army in early '70. I couldn't believe it when I heard them yell, "Shiiiiiiiiit!" when they jumped off the cliff and into the river.

The theater manager let us in free because my wife worked there during my last 12 months in the Army. She worked the ticket booth out front. Lot's of guys tried to get a date until she flashed her wedding ring in their direction. Heh!

Yep, good movie. I saw it in the theater too. I was 14 or 15. Don't remember if I saw it when it first came out, in 1969, or later in 1970.

It actually depends on how good you are at that. You might want to consider Shazam. I succeeded with it a few years ago to discover the following (I couldn't make out enough/anything to search by lyrics quote ). I used the application on my old phone against the radio playing (I had missed the introduction again). It's just the service has degraded recently (reportedly).

(If you can't see it but still curious, consider this version, with weird dancing. )
