Previous owner coded valve to stay open with Carly. I have obdlink Cx for BimmerCode and bimmerlink but I'm not sure if either of these can return my valve coding to stock. Any suggestions that don't involve buying Carly adapter and using their subscription?

Would be most helpful if I could fix it with either of the two apps just not sure which app or how.

Apologies, it's actually in BL, not BC; I mixed the 2 up all the time.

Under EXHAUST FLAP, set to AUTO.

I have heard somewhere in the past that with bimmerlink opening the exhaust flap need to be done everytime the car is start up, is that still the case? Or can bimmerlink change the settings?

Yeah I believe that is still the case. I just unplugged the fuse while the flap was open so that it stays that way.
