I have recently upgraded my halogen bulbs to LED and used bimmercode to remove error codes. However my high beams are coming on as my DRL when the switch is in automatic headlight mode. When the switch is manually put on parking lights or to turn on the headlights, the actual DRLs come on.

I would greatly appreciate it if someone could help me turn off the high beams in automatic mode and have the DRLs come on automatically..

Your high beams are your DRLs in the halogen housing that behavior is expected however it shouldn't be full power unless you have the high beams actually on. I'd check with the seller of the LEDs you bought and ask if they actually are usable in a lower power DRL mode.
