Trunk Stuck Closed

The wife came home tonight and the trunk will not open. I can hear it click when I use the trunk release, but trunk will not open. Checked trunk lock in glove box and it is open.

Any thoughts?

Does she have crap trunk? You might want to try pulling while you're unlocking the trunk.

Yes, she has crap in the trunk. Turned out the strap from a reusable grocery bag got jammed in the latch. Of course it finally opened after going to dealer service and pulling on the lid.
