19" BMW Performance Edition Wheels for M240i?

Hello!

Just wondering if one could slap on the 19" BMW M Rims & Tires (check link) that they used on that M240i Performance Edition without any issues? If so, it should decrease braking distance and improve lateral g's?

Thanks!

Not sure if the link is right, but i think I know what wheels you are referring to - I have those on my car.

BMW claims they are forged, these are good-looking wheels. The downside is that on OEM run-flats the ride is extremely harsh. I am even considering changing selling those and changing for 18 or 17. Not too sure to what extent it helps with the G-forces, but my guess that some lightweight 17" on sticky tires would probably outperform those.

I don't see anything in that piece about 19" wheels or a Performance Edition model of the M240.

Nevertheless, unless the tires are wider than normal and/or stickier than normal, my vote would be for more-or-less the same stopping distances and lateral Gs.
