wheel corrosion...repairable?

all 4 wheels are now showing corrosion like in the pic. i maintain / wash the car frequently, especially whenever there's salt on the road, but apparently not enough to stop this. i definitely do not remember seeing any bubbling starting last fall, so i think it set in pretty quickly over this past winter.

is this repairable? or should i be prcing new wheels at this point?

Any local wheel shop can either polish that out or repaint them.

Probably cheapest to have the wheel surface re-cut and clearcoated again, if you want a perfect repair. Good wheel repair services should have the equipment to do this. This is the sort of result that can be achieved: https://www.thewheelspecialist.co.uk...amond-cutting/

KennyFSU aerobod nice! they've never been my favorite wheels, but wheel budget is reserved for my pending new-build M2C. good to know these can be easily cleaned up...and hopefully not approaching the cost of new wheels.

i've owned a number of high-mileage bimmers on stock wheels and never seen this type of corrosion. assuming it's the machined face / clearcoat combo that is set up for failure?
