This is actually alot more impressive than I expected it to be. The 458 isn't a slow car, by any means. The Evo, is a 7.7 60-130, and.... well, just watch for yourself.

-rwd huracan is down 30hp to the awd one. (frat bro didn't look like he knew how to drive either)

The usual Huracan EVO runs 10.4 @ 135 mph. So it should be quicker than Z06, unless driven by an idiot. There is no way it would get gapped like in this video. Letting the Z06 run against a 12y old Ferrari is sketchy. Still, excellent performance by the Z06 given its MSRP.

Agreed, after seeing the C&D numbers, the Evo should walk the Z06. The 458 claims a 10.9 @134. It still shouldn't have been walked by the Z06 in a roll race, but, I also think this is clapped out 458, to say the least.

After reading more of the C&D article on the Evo, the 10.4 @135 is the AWD car. The one in the video is the rwd car. 602hp for the rwd Evo and 630 for the awd Evo. So, the Huracan was down 68hp. Looks like the rwd performance is close to that of the awd. A testament to how well the rwd Evo is setup.

3,930 with CCBs and Carbon buckets, probably. It's like 3,970 with standard seats and steel brakes.

Definitely. All you have to do is look at the cars construction from today. In the past 5-10 years, just the A-B and C pillars have doubled and tripled in side and thickness. Some cars now have 10 airbags, instead of 2. Engines are way more complicated. Direct injection etc. suspension is way more complicated. Just look at the A-B-C pillars on this car, compared to todays cars. These cars were a 2 and a 3 in crash safety. 2-3 is both broken feet, both broken legs and usually broken wrists and pelvis. Major human body damage with a 2-3 crash safety rating.
