Clutch slippage or boost leak?

Howdy everyone,
I've been putting this off for a while but I'm looking for an answer to a problem that I've been having. At high speeds/rpms the engine will suddenly lose power and the BOV will release the boost intermittently at WOT. I'm not sure whether this would be a boost leak or clutch slippage. If it were to be a leak, could it be on the inlet pipe to the turbo bc not even sure if I seated it properly and was wondering if this could have anything to do with the excess air from a leak on the inlet causing the MAF to get improper readings.

Are there any codes? A leak will trigger a code. Sounds more like overboost and the car is shutting the throttle body, or knocking and shutting the throttle body. It won't release the boost if there's a leak, that would be redundant. The clutch slipping wouldn't cause the engine to cut out, it would gain rpm rapidly.

No codes except 1D3101 and 213601. I took a quick log to see if anyone noticed anything off. https://www.bootmod3.net/log?id=6337...729b68261fd34f

Boost is not stable but the log is missing a ton of parameters that can help you find the issue. Get a log with all of them or default values , we can always unselect if needed.

Few things you see in 3rd gear pull.. Boost request dumps to zero at the point the hpfp slowly declines from 2400's to near 2000. Not sure if your hpfp is crashing resulting in boost cuts and drivetrain malfuction , your car is essentially calling it quits at 6000 rpms..

Boost hpfp
act. target rpm gear target/ actual afr
16.8 17.2 219 5710 3 2448 2063 80 12.43 188 1 78
16.8 17.2 219 5932 3 2448 2063 80 12.44 188 1 79
17 17.2 219 6097 3 2448 2157 80 12.51 188 1 80
18.5 **0 219 5097 3 2448 2566 80 14.09 188 1.08 80

What tune are you running ? I am pretty sure your on a "stage 2" or something due to 17+psi boost target.

Before you go changing anything . Load up the stock or stage 1 tune, grab a log again.

I doubt you'll have any issues on stock map. Let us know

I am running Stage 2 93 w/ hybrid turbo, I grabbed another datalog with the MAF actual and target and I could use a little help determining if they are off or not. And I can grab some more logs, its just that I'm not sure what RAM channels to add and it's also rush hour here so major traffic :/. I really appreciate any help bc I would like to get this solved soon as I have been discussing a custom tune w/ Cary Jordan.

That doesn't make any sense though because it's a turbo smart BOV, not a diverted valve. Could it be the EWG?

I seem to remember people having boost leak issues with the o-rings that come with the turbosmart bov.
