Launched car and popped a charge pipe

Hi everyone so this is actually my first post on here I only registered a few days ago. I have a 2016 M235i and it has about 58,000 miles. I launched the car yesterday to show some family how quick it is, and I heard a pop and the car is now in limp mode. I figured out that my charge pipe blew off and after sliding it back onto the intake manifold causing the engine to now idle normally again, I noticed now that oil has just started leaking out of my oil filter cap. Are these two completely separate problems or are they related, could something much worse than my charge pipe blowing have happened?

Separate issues, could be the cap or the housing gasket, the housing gasket is a super common leak.

Time for a new chargepipe and oil filter housing gasket.

They are separate issues, and it was probably already leaking when the chargepipe blew-you're just now noticing them both at the same time.

Same year same car, charge pipe was the first mod I did because I heard they can crack under stock boost. I ended up installing a VRSF charge pipe. Have not done the OFHG yet as I don't have leaks......yet.

Good luck
