M Performance Aerodynamics Package Installation Instructions (F22)

M Performance aerodynamics package installation instructions for the F22, including:
  • rear diffuser
  • front splitter/lip
  • tailpipe adapter
  • rear spoiler
This should help answer a lot of people's questions, along with some of the great DIY instructions provided by so many of our forum members. Maybe we can add links to DIY instruction threads in some follow on posts. I really wish I could give credit to whoever first posted this, but I can't remember in which thread I found this. So to the mystery member who posted this first (cheers).

Good timing, I got in my M Performance front splitter yesterday and it didn't have any installation instructions.

I think this is posted in the Master DIY thread here:

http://www.2addicts.com/forums/showt...&highlight=DIY

But that thread hasn't been updated for a year. It really should be a STICKY somewhere. Are there any mods on here? How do we request a STICKY?

That's great. Good to know. And definitely should be a sticky somewhere. Unfortunately, the DIY sub forum is lumped with the coding sub forum. Coding dominates in there and I don't think a lot of people with cosmetic upgrades look in there before asking their questions in here. The master DIY thread seems to cover a broader range of topics. The goal of this thread is to hopefully focus on the stuff people are interested in when they come to this sub forum.

You are right that it gets lost in the coding section. It should probably be stickied to most of the subforums and probably the General section as well.

Someone else posted this in another thread a while back and it helped me immensely since for some reason the diffuser and front lip didn't come with any instructions.

I guess BMW doesn't send install instructions to motivate you go to the dealer to get things installed. Thankfully there are kind souls out there who find documents like this and make them available to the rest of us.

Guys... I haven't found anything about the installation of the side sills.

I seems simple but i have to ask it anyway.

There are a few screws on the side rocker panel of the car, should i take this ones out to install the M Performance sills and screw the sills together with side rocker panel, or the sills simply require new drilling and new screws?
