Gintani Tune

That is cool that they finally got around to the N55 tune. I contacted them about a year ago because they were one of the first to be able to flash-tune the M5.

That's cool though but would like to see their Dyno Graph *DELTA* is whats important..
Although a bit late, since Enzo Performance here in the North East has been tuning these N55 since May last year.

But I guess for those who are local to Gintani, should compare with what the competition is offering and those who are on the forums

I contacted them. They said that the standard tune yields 70 whp and 100 wtq, and if you want a custom tune (they take their stock tune and run you on the dyno to tune to your preferences/setup) its $150/hr. The tune itself if $1,000, not including labor, which is free if you are local.

I'd wait to see before/after dyno, *delta* is the key

I'd also ask them how are they accessing the ECU.

Drilling = Bad

Carefully Separating Top from Bottom = Good

I'd run. This may be a bit personal to Gintani, but I've met the guys and they just aren't the type of people I would want touching my car.

Agreed, I've heard some less than positive feedback about them.
