Picked up a slightly used awe exhaust with mid pipe

Do I need to replace any of the clamps/seals or can I just use all the old parts?

Should be fine with all the stuff as is, the clamps are not cheap so they can take a beating.

One thing I usually change when switching exhausts that take a beating are the downpipe to exhaust gaskets.

If it was a guy on craigslist in torrance it was definitely the one lol. Will do a proper write up after the install

lol I saw that ad too. I was watching it since he was asking 1300. I wanted to see how much more he would lower the price.

Yeah I know the down pipe clamps need replacing every time you undo them, just not sure if it's necessary for this one.

They show up once in a while. I know every time someone posts their awe on the classified sections, it gets snatched up within a day of posting.

Got him down to $1000 so I guess it wasn't too bad lol. It wasn't a smoking deal like that one guy that sold his for $500 because of droning.

I noticed that in the pics, his midpipe seemed to have a resonator on it. Could you confirm?

Yeah I think a resonator was welded in.

I have the full AWE system, there isn't a resonator on the mid pipe.

The sound is great, lots of burbles and an awesome tone.

However, there were a bunch of fitment issues and it has a 2700-3000rpm drone zone.

Nice! Did it take a lot of haggling?

Not too much haggling, I just waited like 2 weeks between asking him and that was that. I've missed out on too many good parts waiting for the price to drop, so this time I bit the bullet.
