M Performance Tips Setscrew?

Ended up missing the setscrew that attaches the MP tips to the exhaust. Has the pointed tip on one end and either a torx or Allen head on the other. Anyone know where I could source this? Sold as new, not really complete.

Seems like I could find something to work but the screw is a short small set screw with a piercing tip to hold the exhaust tips on the tailpipe.

Home depot has a hardware isle. There are some pullout drawers that would have very small Allen head screws in it. Just make sure you get the right length and thread pitch.

Should run you about 40 cents.

Also for consideration ... These will see weather look for something that is coated or stainless steel.

Thanks. Thought of that already too.

Ok, new issue. Found setscrews. I pulled one of the tips off and there is a locating pin on the top of the exhaust pipe out of the muffler. The intermediate pipes don't have the opening for this. Wrong part for the intermediate pipes? I got 18302287042.

Anyone else find this?

I'd recommend put a dab of blue loctite on those screws. They are commonly found to vibrate off.

Thanks for the tip. Got some auto grade zinc coated versions as the store didn't have stainless.

Any thoughts on my quandary with the intermediate pipe fit issue? Heard of this before? Did BMW put a different setup on the convertible? Doubt that but curious.
