Fix stock exhaust, or no?

I purchased a new M Performance Exhaust for my M235i on Monday night. On Tuesday morning my stock exhaust started rattling from the flapper on the driver's side output. It goes away shortly after startup, approximately 30 - 45 seconds after starting the car. So, now the question is, should I bother getting the stock exhaust fixed under warranty at the dealer, or just go ahead and have the MPE mounted and not even worry about it? Here's a video of my exhaust this morning:

Well that's obviously completely up to you. You should be in and out of the dealer in 30 minutes for this. Mine was doing the same thing, but I have mods I'd need to maybe take off before a dealer visit, so just held the flap open with some wire and the rattle is gone and the flap is open 100% which I actually prefer.

If your car is stock, I'd probably just have them fix it, why not?

Mine was fixed in under 30 mins I barely finished the cup of coffee I was drinking. Just get it fixed who knows maybe you'll want to reinstall to sell car and remove MPE and sell it used.

I'd get it fixed while you research other exhausts. MPE is too quiet. if you plan on getting a downpipe then perhaps the MPE would be fine.

Just wanted to follow up on this. Took the car into the dealer yesterday after discussing the issue with them. Turns out the fix for the the rattling flap in the exhaust is to cut off the entire muffler section and replace it. So, they did that and just installed my MPE instead of the replacement stock exhaust. The warranty covered the labor to install the MPE. They also left me with the replacement stock exhaust as well, and a new clamp. So, all in all, worked out well, only had to pay for the installation of the diffuser.

How do you like the MPE and are you going to disable ASD?

I haven't had a lot of time to test the MPE, I just got the car back this afternoon. I've already disabled ASD via the Technic harness. I do like the look of the MPE+diffuser+carbon fiber tips though. I'll play with a little more over the next few days to see how I feel about the sound.
