How can those mirrors hold so much water?

Anyone have a technique for getting ALL of the water out of the mirrors after it’s washed? (I might buy a master blaster because of this)

I use the Metro Air Force Blaster Sidekick. It has filtered heated air. I wish I had one years ago.

An air blaster would be your blaster would be the best way to get rid of the water after a wash!

Leaf blower. I've been using my $35 electric one for over 8 years without issues.

I press the button in the car to fold the mirrors. All the water drains out as I dry the car. I then press the button again to extend the mirrors and wipe up the remaining. Works good.

Fold the mirrors and let it drain as much water on its own. Then take a clean, dry micro fibre cloth and hold it right at the gaps where water collects. Should channel out all the water.

Came to this section to post the same question! I can't wash/dry myself as I live in an apartment and while my local hand wash place uses the air blasters it just doesn't get it all and by the time I get home I have streaks all across my doors. I'll try keeping them folded during wash/dry but wish there was a better solution.

Here is what you should do.
After they washed and dry the car, take it for a quick sprint go up to 70 mph This should get rid of the excess water.

Take a quick detail spray and a microfiber cloth to get rid of any lingering water spots.

And defiantly fold in the mirrors after the wash.
