2019 240ix

So looks like I’m going to order a 2019 M240ix coupe here in Southern California. What kind of percentage off MSRP would be fair? Not trying to get that killer deal, just don’t want to get ripped off. One other question what type/brand are the summer non run flat? I thought I read they were Pilot Sports, but the 240i I test drove had Perelli’s and the salesperson could not explain why. Last question is there wiggle room on the Ultimate Care package as was going to get the +3 which is 4200 when building the car on the website. This will be my first BMW, but my Dad bought new a 2011 335is vert and he still likes and has his. I currently have a 2010 S5 with 96,000 miles. Thanks in advance.

You test drove one with the crappy skinny all season run flats. You want the summer performance non-run flats, still a weak size but much better. It's an option, tick that box.

BMW, like other manufacturers, gets tires from a range of suppliers. I’ve seen M240i’s with Michelin PSS and with Pirrelli tires. My 2018 M240i cane with PSS tires. I wouldn’t put a Pirrelli tire on a lawn mower. IMHO. YMMV

It's done, ordered the car with the summer tires. No one here was of help with the price, but that is expected because they just don't sell many. Anyway for any folks that want a 240ix and are negotiating then I got 4500 off MSRP, but that included the +3 Ultimate Care Package, so one has to take that into consideration. End of the day, in SoCal a 2019 240ix non vert with the goods all said and done tax/finance is close to a 70K car.

It depends to a large extent on the promotions that month.

When I ordered mine in January

MSRP $55,424

Dealer Discount 5249

BMWFS incentive 3500

Loyalty incentive 750

Corporate Sales Incentive 500

Total 45425

I didn't get it until the end of June.

Only other thing I can think of, is I'm accounting for another $4500 or so for an extended warranty to a 100,000 miles. That unfortunately does get me closing in on the prediction of ~70K US. Happy for folks who do so much better. I never get a stellar deal, nor do I get anything for trade. Speaking of same, any SoCal folks who want a '10 white S5 with a bit under a 100K on the odo and all documentation, I'm second owner and within the last 12 months put new OEM brakes all around and Michelin PS4S. Besides the tires the car remains bone stock, down to all history of service done through an Audi Dealer and documented. Just now waiting on a '19 240ix I ordered end of Oct.

lol bro, MSRP is not close to $70k at the end of the day - even loaded. you can't count the Ultimate Care Pkg in the cost.

Post your cost breakdown and options. That way we can see how you got to $70k.

So it's a $53,960 car.

And 6.19 is a crazy high APR.

I ordered a 230xi in aug picking it up Monday at the performance center, I got 7.25% off of msrp (pretty much loaded). And got 3.35% for 60 months from bmw financing on wed when I signed the final papers.

Sadly it's getting hard to get decent rates even with a 760+ credit score

I got @ 10% off MSRP on my 18 then signed up with AARP for the 2500 corporate discount they were offering at the time

I actually got my former employer an amazing corporate discount that wouldn't have cost them anything but they refused to sign it.

I got 1.84% for 72 months from my credit union, with an ~825 Experian Fico. Their top tier was anything over 740, so no better for 760+. This was in April 2017, but I can't believe rates have gone up that much.

I don't know how interest rates are at down there but seeing this number makes me feel amazing about my 0.15% 60months OAC

They absolutely have gone up a lot since 2017. 6.19 is still too high but getting less than 3% for 60 months is difficult to impossible now.

I don't know how to word this correctly but when you put down a $10k down payment, it doesn't add to the cost of the car. If I'm buying a car with a MSRP of $50k and I put a down payment of $40k on that car, I'm not paying $90k for the car. The next time you buy a car you may want to take someone along to help you out, it may save you a lot of money between financing, warranties, negotiating, etc it sounds like you could use some help. Not trying to be a dick, just seeing a lot of potential money being saved.

Here's what I paid just last month.
https://www.2addicts.com/forums/show...8&postcount=11

But the BMWFS credit is now $4K for Feb 2019, instead of $3.5K in Jan 2019

I have the Pilot sports too. They feel very grippy to me.
