Phone mount for gauge display
Hey guys,
Getting the JB4 BT connect rev 3 and will run a defunct LG Android smartphone as the display. Any suggestions on what phone mount to use? Thanks! Mike |

The ProClip vent mount (pictured w/ Nexus 6p) works nicely. Easily clips on and off from the vent.

Thanks guys. And they're adjustable for smaller (iPhone 5) and larger Samsung Galaxy 6 phones right?

The ProClip option adjusts just enough to compensate for a case on the phone but the overall width of the clip part is tailored for a single specific phone. Might not be the best option of you need to mount multiple, different sized phones in the car.

There are two sizes, though: the Airframe and the Airframe+. The larger one (+) is the one you want.

I got the Kenu mount. It seems to hold the phone OK, but the orientation position is limited.

That's odd. Mine turns nicely for "landscape" position. I wonder if they changed the design.

You're right, it does turn. There's a locking cam inside. It's easier to turn when not mounted on the vent.
