M240ix Adaptive Full LED headlights?

Hi, I our M240i is in production at the moment. I ordered the adaptive full LED headlights w/auto high beams for our 2021 M240i (U.S. build). I apologize if this question was asked before as I haven't found an exact answer. Are those headlights like the ones I have on my 2014 X5 (adaptive full LED) where it doesn't have anything that looks like a projector bulb? There is a lot of different information on the internet about the various lights. We ordered this 2 series car from a new dealer and the salesman was still learning about BMW so he didn't know much about them. Thanks!

I don't know what the 2014 X5's adaptive headlights are like to compare, but this is what the adaptive LED headlights on my 2020 M240i Coupe are like. I presume the 2021 are the same.

— They are projector headlights, not reflector headlights.

— Only the outer lenses light up.

— There is a purple fringe, as with other projector LED headlamps.

Ok, thanks for the pic. I see now they aren't what I thought they'd be. I was wondering if they were like this pic. Not a projector, and the inner and outer lights function on each headlight.

Adaptive vs non-adaptive

Non-adaptive LEDs too are projector LEDs. They have the non-hexagonal, older "tube" style angel eyes (a.k.a corona rings) and obviously do not swivel with the steering.

However, does anybody know if the bulbs themselves are different, or whether one is brighter than the other?

I recall reading on this forum several years ago when I got my m240i xdrive that the adaptive leds are considerably brighter than the non-adaptive ones. also I think I recall someone saying that with the non-adaptive ones, you also don't get led blinkers in the front, but I could be misrembering that.
