Yes its the same kit. We have it on our M2.

Very nice. I just ordered this kit for my 19 M240i. The only gripe I had about it on my S3, despite it looking better than stock, was that the front drop was not as low as advertised. A bit disappointing, but I dealt with it because the ride quality and performance were both phenomenal. Hopefully that's not an issue on the BMW.

Found this post from last year on vwvortex, similar spring setup on the golf R and exact same range of adjustment. Also emailed MSS for more info on the F22 set. They didn't really answer my questions with any detail other than they adjust from 10-30mm down from stock (but didn't say it was stock m235i rwd ride height, just + or -3mm depending on stock 'option'). They also said the springs are designed to work in harmony with non-active and active (edc) suspension. Seemed like a very vague and marketing type response. Given all that and the additional cost over already tried and tested springs, I am definitely waiting for someone else to guinea pig these on an m235i first before considering further. They also didnt answer my question on how much stiffer than stock, but I'm not surprised given the rest of the emails vagueness

I've had standard springs on MANY cars, and I can personally tell you that these MSS springs are in a completely different league. The ride quality and performance is more on par with a nice set of coilovers. They almost completely eliminated dive during hard breaking and squat during launches, and feed back and cornering was instant and planted. Comfort levels were as good as if not better than stock even though the springs were noticeably stiffer. It was kind of odd actually.

The fact that they keep their spring rates proprietary is their decision, make of it what you will, but they definitely deliver.

Like I said, the only gripe I had was the drop of the front springs, but they were so good otherwise I just dealt with it.

If someone has a set that isn't installed, they can take them to a race shop with a spring rate tester to get the data.

Ideally, that data would then be posted here so that others will know and can then compare rates to other offerings or comparison shop for the same rates from other vendors.

That might work for the front, but the rear has several springs etc. so I guess that is where the magic sauce is

As well as main springs, tender springs and helper springs can be tested for rate, too.

FWIW, springs from the major vendors come with the necessary data stamped on them. For example, the Eibach spring below is an 8" main spring with a 500# per inch rate and a 2.25" inside diameter.

Still waiting for the MSS kit to be delivered. Ordered from Urotuning on 2/9 and just got the tracking info yesterday. They had to ship directly from MSS apparently which is what is causing the delay. Enjoy a wheel pic while you wait.

Forgive me wfujay, but are you sure you have fitted those springs correctly? The first picture it looks like the top of the spring is not aligned with the spring perch/ dust cover properly (I could be wrong). The end of the spring is supposed to sit against the rubber endstop in the dustcover.

Interested to hear your thoughts on MSS springs with OE Adaptive shocks. I test drove MSS' M140i with MSS Springs on passive OE shocks recently.

I'm 99.99% sure they're installed correctly, but of course now I'm going to have to double check because you've asked lol.

I think I know what you mean, but the spring was sitting completely flush on the bottom side. No matter which way you position the spring it looked slightly off on that side. The "shape" of the two front springs were not identical and in fact the markings on both were different which was weird. I had to call MSS and let them verify that they were both the right fitment for the car. I've got about 200 or so miles on them now and so far so good.

The drop is much better than my previous Audi on the fronts for sure, so that makes me happy. New wheels and tires coming up soon.
