Has anyone done a monoball in the lower control arms?

I was researching the M4 LCA upgrade, but my front wheels are already so close to the fender that I don't think I can upgrade those without replacing the wheels or other suspension components.

Something that interests me a bit is a monoball upgrade. Has anyone done this? What did you think?

Well. I ordered it! Guess I'll be the F22 test mule for this mod on a stock THP M240i.

My friend and I both have the turner ones. They are great for a little more steering feel.

Does it feel any closer at all to an older BMW, or even another make that does electric power steering properly?

Does it do anything to correct the spot in the center of the steering that doesn't turn the car much? The 1" dead zone?

It's nothing like old hydraulic steering. I don't think electric will ever have the capability to feel that way.
They do add a bit more feel and a little (good in my opinion) nvh.

I've never had an issue with a steering dead spot. I run a zero toe alignment which helps. I would imagine excess toe in would create a dead spot.

An option would be an adjustable lower control arm so you can fine-tune the camber without overextending the track width or get the tire too close to the fender.
