no tire rotation
I just had my 230i convertible in to the dealer for an oil change and annual inspection and was told that BMW does not rotate the tires anymore. What is the reason for this as the service advisor just stated they no longer rotate the tires?

tire rotation
I think they don't rotate tires because it saves them a few service dollars and they dont really care if you get a few more miles out of your tires. If you have to pay to rotate your tires the savings with more even wear probably down not justify the cost of rotation. Unless you track or are hard on tires, then rotation is probably worth it. The best solution is to just rotated them yourself so essentially zero cost, except for hydraulic jack, impact wrench, torque wrench, etc, but buying tools and working on your car is so fun.
