Best Charge Pipe for M235i?

Has anyone compared different charge pipes? I know sometimes the fitment is a bit off, which is mostly what I'm worried about. Not too concerned about finish. Just looking for the best charge pipe for my M235i. Mine just blew at 64k miles.

Thanks I didn't see your response, but actually ended up going with the ER pipe per my mechanic's recommendation. The Evolution Racewerks shop was also local to SoCal not too far from LA and I was able to locally pick it up the same day. The owner was very cool, gave me a slight discount and a tour of the shop. I went with the anodized black one....it needs to pass a smog inspection!

I got an Active Autowerke and it fit great (two piece like most). Got it in black too so it just looks pretty much like OEM but metal. Not sure how it could be better than that, seems like if fitment and build quality is good then there isn't much more to gain from that part.

Best for the I/C of Choice

When changing the Charge Pipe - if you plan on upgrading your intercooler :

I came to the conclusion that not all CP's fit well with aftermarket I/C's.

I decided to keep it in the family & went VRSF for both.

Performance wise -- CP's are nearly identical unless the fitment is week.

ER, Wagner, AA, BMS, VRSF would all be good choices.

Good point, and if/when I change IC I'd be going ER, made the CP decision easier.

i read with envy those who are upgrading/replacing charge pipes. i currently live in CA, which requires emissions/smog inspections periodically. are there any charge pipes that are CA-compliant and will pass inspection?

I'm in CA. If your car doesn't look modified and you don't have a flashy charge pipe (get anodized black), nobody is going to be peaking inside your hood. Also they changed the smog check laws. I think it's like 7 years for 1st owner of new vehicles and every 2 years after. I'm just going off memory, but you can Google and check online
