Finally!!! BMW didn't fuck up the front like they did with the 1-Series. This car is near perfect to my eyes design-wise! I can actually go as far as predicting we'll soon see this face in the 1-Series hatch as well, I really expect an LCI very soon, it is only just to fix this monstrosity of a front end and replace it with this gorgeous new design.

Btw, Audi did not use the 4-sedan, 5-coupe nomenclature first. BMW already had a 5-Series sedan and a 6-Series coupe in 2004, way before the A5 was introduced.

And still, most of the Audi nomenclature doesn't really make sense. There is no A2, A3 is not a coupe, A7 is not a coupe, A1 is not a coupe, same with Q models, the nomenclature is all over the place.

Beautiful car! I would consider trading my e92 in for this, as long as it doesn't have the dead steering of the F30.

i think the front is a bit long. i hope its because it's to accomodate the inline 6 engine.

so when is the sedan comming out??
i hope the rear will extend a bit more on the sedan to even out the look.

+1. Beautiful looking car. If it handles like an E46, I'll be the happiest man alive.

With this car the 3 series crowd will become the 5 series crowd. The 2 is the new 3 series for enthusiasts.

Great looking car. Doesn't look stubby like the old 135i, and it doesn't have that pinched nose look like the F30.

It won't. But hopefully they've improved the steering feel since the F3x.

It could handle like an E46, but the steering maybe different with the electric rack.

It's a bit soft and feminine looking, but I'm pretty sure the M2 will fix that.

Properly sized beemer, the new 3 and 4 series are the size of the past 5 and 6 series and the new 2 series is around the e92 3 series. I wonder when cars will stop growing.....

is it just me or does the entire car look a bit too "raked" maybe it is just the angles.

Is it just me or is this going to have a wider body than I thought?

Looking at the front, the way the front air dams are wider and more aggressive than any other M-Sport models, it seems to have a wider body.

I might be the only one who does not like it.
The lights are not bad-looking, but they lack design innovation and excitement.
