license plate mount

it sounds like in new york state i have to have the license plate mounted in the front bumper as well as the back or else risk a ticket. any thoughts? it's a new 2019 bmw 240i x. thanks. if i have to where does it look best?

This is how orient mine so the parking sensors in the front will work

Ditto the Millworks, but I rarely put it on if I'm not going down near NYC. Almost 3 yrs and never a ticket, but others get hassled fairly regularly (I'm told meter maids are the real culprit, so if you aren't street parking it isn't a big deal). May also need it to use EZPass, if you do that. If you do a search, there are those who've figured out how to make PDC work w/ a millworks, without going full vertical (and several other styles/locations for mounting that may appeal). Personally I think they look best centered, but can't bring myself to drill into the bumper cover.
