reverse lights
I have a 2019 m240i xdrive. I haven't had a chance to test them yet, but are the reverse lights LEDs? I am thinking no, but wanted to verify.

have someone get in your car and put it in R while you look at the reverse lights, and see if they are instant on and off.

Yes you will need to code, so it does not throw a cel.

If you change from bulb to LED, you should code your BMW not to check the bulb, there will no error code

Just received those. Not yet installed. Should be no coding needed.

I'd still code the reverse lights to LEDs even if no coding is actually necessary. You'll get visible flicker on the backup camera under certain conditions if you don't. Not gonna throw any codes, but will be annoying.

that sucks but thanks for the heads up. I might try it and then if it's annoying I'll either code or switch them back. sure be nice if bmw just put them in as stock like they should have so i wouldn't have to change them!

No kidding. I saw a recent X5 with the updated rear lights and they were all LED, including the reverse lights. I'm pretty sure it wasn't a 2019. Not sure why they made all our lights LED EXCEPT for the reverse lights...
