Review your front splitter/lip

Background: Every so often, I find a post about someone asking about the quality of a certain brand's front splitter; the threads usually end up dying without any response.

Goal: People must actually be buying these, so I'd like to try and start a thread where people can post a review (as brief or extensive as they'd like) on which front splitter they got (packing quality, fitment, material quality, durability, etc.).

My main motivation is looking at various 3D Designs front splitter replicas and wondering about the quality (ie. fitment, whether they will start turning yellow in like a month, etc.) such as:

RW: https://www.********.com/178/1/0/730...e1544473240697

JL: http://www.jl-motoring.com/BMW_F22_2...p/bmfs2221.htm

If anyone has and is willing to review either one of these, great! Otherwise, I will end up getting one and reviewing myself to get the thread kicked off (of course all other splitter reviews welcome).

its just a cosmetic piece that is heavily opinionated to the users likes.

get what you like. Mount it from every possible angle so it will stay put no matter what you hit.

I have had 5. CF, plastic, oem, ebay... They will all break. Buy one with that in mind.

I totally agree with you. There are so many different suppliers and I don't want to spend the time and money with somthing cheep.
And not really wanting to spend the outrageous price the dealer wants. I hope this plays out.

Lightweight is an excellent option, very durable.

I bought the JL motoring splitter and installed it this past Saturday.
It used the factory holes and screws on the bottom of the bumper.

Finish is excellent.

Fitment is 9/10. Maybe not perfect flush on right side but not enough to affect anything and not noticeable except to me if I look close.

I'll report back on how it hold up over time.

Your photo shows the splitter better than they do trying to sell them.

Excellent contribution, thank you!

Thinking to try the RW Carbon version (seems very similar).

Anyone tried this one from IKON on Amazon? For $260 with free shipping, seems a pretty good replica, then another $100-$150 to paint whatever parts you want... hmmmm
