M Performance door handle trim keeps popping loose

I replaced the trim in my F22 with the M Performance Carbon trim. All of the trim went on without issue, but the passenger side door handle trim keeps popping loose at the top when someone grabs the handle. I’ve taken it off and replaced it twice now, but it still isn’t better. The drivers side is fine, despite being used far more.

Any suggestions, or has anyone had the same problem?

I would look carefully at the locking tabs on both parts of the handle, it sounds as though one or more is broken or distorted, preventing the two parts snapping together properly.

If you have your original part compare the clips making sure all the metal tabs are on and they are all straight.

I am on my third color (stock, then CF then pur wood) and none have been prone to pop off.

Mine were bad from the factory - took them to the dealership and they replaced them under warranty. They ended up having to replace not only the handle, but the part they snap into.
