Weird, my 235 has the top from the left and the gloss black bottom from the right in the original pics. Maybe that's a 228/230 only option if you spec the gloss black trim throughout?

I learned of the gloss black trim from a local listing for a 228 on Autotrader, so it seems to be. You can't spec the 235/240 in gloss black to my knowledge.

Looks pretty sweet (better than the faux-wood I have now), I just hate glossy interiors

I did get all the part numbers though, but for the gloss black with the aluminum bottom instead of the pictured red.

I replaced all of my brushed aluminum with gloss black since I couldn't just order it that way. Under $200 from Brian at Sun. Brushed aluminum didn't bother me on my coupe w black leather but I didn't like it with the coral red in my convertible.

Do you still have the brushed aluminum trim by chance? Black or blue accent? If it has the black accent I can sure take if off your hands

Black accent BUT it's for a convertible. So the center piece is different than the coupe, it has an extra hole for top controls. Been meaning to list it for sale haven't gotten around to it yet. If you've got a vert PM me it's all basically brand new was on car for 500 miles.

Just FYI for those who lease you can turn on with any trim you want as long as it's BMW OeM.

No vert here

Forgot about the top controls by the iDrive controller, thanks anyway.

Lol, you make it so easy when in reality this was the most impossible task I've ever faced. The radio and AC clips wouldn't come out no matter what I tried and whoever designed those plugs needs their head examined. I tried using fingers, pliers, a needle tool to poke inside the little holes on the back of the clips and NOTHING WORKED. Literally ended up almost snapping the connectors off and having to go to a dealer for a harness repair but thankfully I gave up before that occured and I ended up doing a workaround where removed the ac and radio from the trim without unplugging it. What a PITA this was
