M Performance CF Shift Knob - How Does it Hold Up?

Thinking about the CF shift knob for my automatic F23 PN 61312250698. If anybody has one installed, how's it holding up? I'd like to swap my stock shifter cover out, but not if the new one is going to look like crap in 6 months.

Thanks in advance for the help!

I went with the "full" set on my 2018 M240i (F22)- Center vent panel, door handles, shift cover, shift base, and "that long piece where the infotainment circle rotating push button thing is."

The CF shift cover has held up absolutely fine over 2.5 years. I don't eat/drink in the car (I allow capped bottles for long drives) so very little risk of spilling anything in the car, but through almost-daily use it hasn't worn down or frayed at the edges, no discoloration yet.

Thanks for the info. I took the plunge and installed the shifter, haven't driven the car much in the snow but it looks nice enough.

I've had the manual version of that shift knob on my daily driver since Christmas 2018 and it still looks new.
