It's somewhat of a good comparison, but M235i is not M.
Dimensions, weight and even power outputs might be similar, but the suspension will never be M like. Just look like the difference in suspension between the E9x M and non-M, they are a world apart. |

Awesome Comparo! Thank you for working this out for us! I can't wait to see this thing IRL. I've already started saving $$ for it. Hopefully we'll have more details regarding an M2 model if it's in the pipeline by then.

further point on M235iGC, Here in los angeles people are already really hyped up about the AMG CLA.... Benz is going to sell a bajillion of those things and having seen the car in person I think its very awkward looking (although I think the interior is phenomenal). Too bad BMW is a year or more behind getting out a compact 4 door drivers car.

Looks like the 2 is gonna have the same problem as the E82, it's virtually the same damn height as the hatchback and taller than the F32 as the E82 was taller than the E92. The height really ruined the proportions of the 1 coupe and although the car is much prettier now, I can't see how it'll be any better if it's still so high ¬_¬

I have edited my post (post 19) with a few more corrections in case you want to add them as well, all regarding some dimensions.
Thanks for doing this comparo by the way
