I had 3 E46 M3's and I know the coupe was 4.8 and convertible was 5.4.

Can you believe it, after ten years the E46m3 is still that great looking. I'll skip the M235i, it will never feel the same as a M car. I had the very first 135i in the states, while it had plenty of ommph the suspension was its weak spot. Still felt like it want to be a luxury coupe than a raw machine. Going to wait for the M2 or get a new Cayman... to wait or not to wait.
